Our client, a leading player in the renewable energy sector, seeks a resourceful individual to join its strategy team as an Associate. With a focus on acquiring, developing, owning, and operating renewable energy projects across the United States, our client boasts a robust portfolio of over 70 projects with a combined capacity exceeding 9 gigawatts. As an Associate, you'll contribute to the client's continued success in the dynamic renewable energy market.
Responsibilities:
As an Associate on the strategy team, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Financial Modeling: Develop and review intricate financial models to facilitate investment decisions for mergers and acquisitions, power market origination, and project returns optimization. Present analytical findings in a clear and concise manner.
- Due Diligence Leadership: Lead due diligence efforts and coordinate third-party deliverables throughout deal processes, ensuring smooth transactions.
- Transaction Support: Assist transaction leads in negotiating definitive documentation for mergers and acquisitions, power purchase agreement (PPA) origination, asset dispositions, and customized financing products.
- Portfolio Management: Support initiatives across the client's portfolio, including projects in development, under construction, or in operation.
Job Requirments
We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two to five years of relevant experience, including proficiency in financial modeling and project finance transactions.
- Strong academic and professional track record, coupled with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a small team environment and manage multiple projects with organizational acumen.
- Preferred experience in the renewable energy sector.
Compensation and Benefits:
$110,000 to $135,000 plus bonus. Along with a comprehensive benefits package.
