Overview:
Our client is a successful and stable utility-scale solar company committed to delivering reliable, sustainable energy solutions. They specialize in developing, constructing, and operating large-scale solar projects across Virginia and surrounding states.
This is a full time, permanent position for a Solar QA/QC Manager to ensure quality assurance and control in on utility-scale solar projects across Virginia. This role involves frequent travel to project sites, ensuring compliance with standards and regulations. You will be provided with a vehicle and per diem as well as overtime options.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement QA/QC plans for solar projects.
- Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Review construction documentation and address quality issues.
- Coordinate with teams to resolve quality concerns promptly.
- Provide training on quality control procedures and safety.
- Maintain records of inspections and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety policies.
- Monitor quality control measures and suggest improvements.
- Prepare progress reports and compliance documentation.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of solar QA/QC experience.
- Experience working on commercial projects at a minimum, utility scale experience preffered.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification required.
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and construction methods.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and safety.
- Ability to travel within Virginia and sometimes surrounding states.
