PE Licensed Engineer

Job description

We are looking for an experienced PE Licensed Engineer to join one of our clients as a lead engineer on utility scale solar and on water facilities around the Denver area.


  • Lead design and engineering of utility-scale solar projects and water facilities.
  • Develop and review electrical schematics and layout drawings.
  • Conduct site assessments and analyze data for feasibility.
  • Utilize software for energy modeling and design (PVsyst, AutoCAD).
  • Ensure designs comply with regulations and codes, prepare and submit permit applications.
  • Collaborate with project managers and construction teams.
  • Provide technical support during construction.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related degrees
  • PE license in Colorado required
  • Minimum of 3 years in solar design engineering, focusing on utility-scale projects.
  • Experience with FKM for arc flash analysis.
  • Proficiency in solar design software (PVsyst, AutoCAD).
  • Understanding of electrical and structural engineering principles.
  • Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (NEC, IEEE).
