The Role

The Client seeks a dynamic individual to spearhead market analysis and origination efforts in the United States. The chosen candidate will be pivotal in managing all facets of market analysis, including evaluating forward curve assessments from third parties across different U.S. markets, assessing PPA risks and provisions, and identifying potential offtake customers. Reporting to the VP of US Development, the candidate will also play a crucial role in negotiating and securing offtake agreements for US renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise to identify market opportunities and risks while maintaining professionalism in engaging with stakeholders. They should possess a robust network within procurement-related sectors, including corporate, industrial, utilities, municipalities, and cooperatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and nurture origination prospects and opportunities
  • Foster relationships with existing and potential customers and market participants
  • Develop proposals and negotiate contracted revenue opportunities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct internal market analysis and gather intelligence from various sources
  • Understand the revenue stack of projects within specific markets, aiding financial modeling and decision-making
  • Develop tools and analyses to enhance offtake strategies and pricing outcomes
  • Coordinate with third-party advisers and consultants for market analyses and contract management
  • Ensure compliance with ESG policies and anticorruption practices
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support project development, investment, and finance activities


  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in origination, trading, power marketing, or similar roles
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professionalism
  • Decisive decision-making abilities
  • Excellent networking and time management skills
  • Proficient in market analysis and financial modeling
  • Comprehensive understanding of US electricity markets
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite
  • Attentive to detail and possess a curious mindset
  • Comfortable with national and local industry events and conferences
  • Native English speaker
  • Willingness to travel, including visits to the Miami office and throughout the U.S. for stakeholder meetings.


$190-$230k base plus bonus
