The Role:


Seeking a Corporate Finance Manager to join the team in the Greater Washington DC Area.

The business is expanding their team to assist with executing financing transactions as well as assisting with managing our short-term liquidity activities . There will be a specific focus on secured debt financing transactions. This position will report to the Senior Director of Corporate Finance


Your responsibilities may include:


  • Reviewing investment documentation, including third-party reports, power purchase agreements, financing agreements, and other investment assumptions to assist with the negotiation of secured financing terms.
  • Assisting with broader liquidity management objectives, including cashflow forecasting, duration analysis, liability management, and other related activities.
  • Collaborating with the Investment and Portfolio Management teams to identify assets suitable for secured debt financing.
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with banking institutions.
  • Working directly with the Senior Director to structure, negotiate, and execute debt arrangements, coordinating with internal and external legal resources and other third parties.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders across different departments in providing certain finance assumptions utilized for investment economics and decision-making.
  • Supporting capital markets transactions with due diligence inquiries, assistance with the preparation of marketing materials, financial modeling, and other activities associated with secured and unsecured debt, convertible bonds and equity issuances.


You will have:


  • At least 6+ years of relevant experience in corporate finance with a focus on Project Finance
  • Experience with Renewable Energy assets a plus
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably with a major/concentration in Finance or related field
  • Demonstrated project management skills most notably with the execution of financing transactions
  • Demonstrated understanding of Renewable Energy projects, including tax equity and other financing instruments
  • Strong Microsoft Excel financial modeling with demonstrable experience working with complex financial models
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • MBA or CFA a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, innovative, entrepreneurial environment


Salary:


$130-150k base plus 20-40% bonus
