Intelletec has teamed up with a cutting-edge storage developer. This company is a national leader in energy storage deployment, and they are currently seeking a talented Asset Manager with FP&A experience to join their dynamic team in Chicago, IL.
As an Asset Manager, you will assume a pivotal role in overseeing the financial performance of assets and ensuring the seamless preparation and submission of project revenue invoices. You will have the exciting opportunity to shape the direction of the Asset Optimization (AO) strategy in close collaboration with the leadership team. By engaging with various stakeholders, including leadership and other departments, you will contribute to the safe operation of the fleet while creating and implementing innovative business and service offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain processes to meet safety, compliance, and operational objectives.
- Track and analyze wholesale electricity market participation risks for assigned projects.
- Prepare monthly operating reports and support the development of annual budgets for external stakeholders.
- Provide valuable ad hoc reports and analysis as requested by Asset Optimization Leadership, Senior Regional Directors, or fellow Asset Managers.
Skills
- Experience: A solid background of 5+ years of experience across multiple power markets and renewable energy markets, complemented by FP&A/Finance expertise.
- Financial Analysis: Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
- Time Management: Excellent time management skills to effectively navigate internal and client timelines and address any obstacles that may arise.
- Collaboration: The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment, fostering effective relationships with stakeholders and colleagues.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to proactively identify and address issues in asset management and optimization.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at various levels and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
