Intelletec has partnered with a leading solar energy firm in Washington, DC, dedicated to creating a sustainable future. They are looking for a Senior Accountant, Structured Funds. You'll work closely with the Director of Accounting and Structured Funds, supporting accounting, tax, and financial reporting functions for Structured Funds.
Responsibilities:
- Manage workflows and processes for multiple Structured Funds entities.
- Prepare journal entries, financial statements, and reports.
- Handle cash transactions related to fund operations.
- Assist in accounting research and analysis.
- Complete account reconciliations and support monthly close and reporting requirements.
- Collaborate with teams to reconcile budgets and optimize processes.
- Assist in developing accounting policies and procedures.
Skills needed:
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of staff or public accounting experience.
- Proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with technical accounting.
- CPA preferred.
- NetSuite experience preferred.
- Financial reporting and/or tax experience
- Renewable energy or real estate fund experience
- Experience in renewable project development or construction
