We are working with a well-established financial institution that is looking to grow its Renewable Investments team. Our client owns and operates over 6GW of renewable energy assets across the US. You would be joining the team which supports the Wind & Solar portfolio.
Some Information about the role:
This seat will sit with the corporate finance arm of the business and would be overseeing the FP&A function within the Treasury and Debt facilities. This role can also entail working closely with 3rd parties (lenders, investors etc), compliance, modeling and closing.
As a Director you will:
- Prepare longterm cashflow forecasting for the business and work alongside Investment, Development and Asset Management teams
- Prepare, maintain and update financial models which will be used to evaluate projects, performance and the portfolio as a whole
- Develop benchmarks, conduct industry & competitor studies to assess the status of the business
- Present your findings & insights to internal and external counter-parties
Skills:
- 8+ years of relevant experience - Financial Analysis, Equity and/or valuations - preferably within Energy or Real Estate/Finance
- Prior knowledge of Corporate Finance and Analysis is required for this role
- Experience in developing and maintaining complex financial models is required for this role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- An MBA, CFA or CPA (or similar) would be a plus but not essential
