Investment Team Associate

Our client is a market-leading owner and operator of renewable energy projects across the United States that acquires, develops, owns, operates, or has contracted more than 6 gigawatts of capacity among a portfolio of over 60 renewable energy projects. Role

You’ll be responsible for building and reviewing financial models to support management investment decisions, with a focus on modeling project returns, optimizing capital structure, identifying risks and potential upside, and presenting analytical findings in a clear and concise manner. Additionally, you’ll be responsible for leading due diligence and managing third-party deliverables through deal processes. You will also support transaction leads on negotiating definitive documentation for debt and tax equity financings, acquisitions, and opportunistic sales across both new projects and the company's existing portfolio of projects in development, under construction, or in operation.

Required Experience

• Candidates should have a minimum of three to five years of experience, including experience in financial modeling and project finance transactions.
• Experience in the renewable energy space is strongly preferred.
• A record of academic and professional achievement, well-developed communication skills, the ability to collaborate well with a small team, proven organizational acumen when working on multiple projects, and a high level of motivation and initiative are all vital to this role.
