Development Engineer - Renewables

We are working with a well-established developer/financial institution that is looking to grow its Renewable Investments team. Our client owns and operates over 6GW of renewable energy assets across the US. You would be joining the team which supports the Wind & Solar portfolio.

Some Information about the role:

You will be responsible for writing and implementing plans through all stages of project design.

In this role you would work closely with the Development and Engineering teams to ensure land is being commercially optimized.

As a Development Engineer you will:

• Design and manage a number of initiatives within the development phase of projects - including PV, EPC's
• Work with Development teams, Engineering teams & third-party engineers to ensure lands/projects are utilized fully
• Work across multiple projects at differing stages of development
• Participate in the purchase, development and operation of Renewable Energy assets in a dynamic environment

Skills:

• 3+ years of relevant experience - working within the Renewable Energy space
• Experience in Solar / Wind development is essential - a good working knowledge of EPC's
• Familiar with CAD / other design software is preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• An Undergraduate degree or equivalent
