Our client is currently in search of a resourceful and exceptionally motivated individual to join its Finance team in the capacity of a corporate finance associate. The selected candidate for this role will become an integral part of a small yet inclusive and highly proficient team. This team plays a crucial role in providing support for the company's assortment of wind and solar energy projects. Operating within a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where collaboration, meticulous problem-solving, and a keen eye for detail are highly esteemed, this position offers a unique opportunity. Furthermore, this role facilitates substantial engagement with various other departments and sectors within the business. These encompass Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Legal & Compliance, deal teams, developers, and asset managers. The interactions within these domains are set to be meaningful, offering a well-rounded perspective on the company’s operations beyond finance.
You will have:
- Applicants should possess one to four years of financial background, preferably within the domains of energy, real estate, or financial services. While prior experience in treasury or financial planning and analysis would be advantageous, it is not obligatory.
- Demonstrated analytical prowess, well-honed communication and organizational aptitude, as well as meticulous attention to detail, stand as essential attributes for excelling in this role.
- The capacity to function autonomously and effectively collaborate with teams spanning diverse time zones and jurisdictions holds significant significance.
- While possessing a certification such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or an equivalent is advantageous, along with experience in the renewable energy sector, these are not prerequisites.
$120-140k base plus uncapped bonus
