Asset Management Analyst

Intelletec Energy is partnered with a renewable energy company that focuses on developing, owning, and operating hydroelectric and wind energy projects. They have over 250 megawatts of operating wind and hydroelectric facilities across the US. and are continuously developing new projects to increase their renewable energy capacity.

Currently, they've been expanding its renewable energy portfolio through new projects and acquisitions to increase its renewable energy capacity.

They're seeking an Asset Management Associate that will play a key role in managing the portfolio of hydropower assets. You will lead energy dispatch scheduling of hydroelectric facilities, conduct diligence on optimization initiatives for our portfolio and monitor changes in power markets.

Responsible

• Develop daily offers and schedules for hydroelectric facilities in ISO/RTO power markets.
• Maintain compliance with ISO/RTO market requirements and participate in stakeholder processes.
• Manage relationships with external energy managers and counterparties, fulfilling reporting requirements.
• Monitor financial and operational performance of facilities and prepare associated reports.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in organized ISO/RTO power markets (NYISO experience preferred)
• Proficiency in managing data sets and building models in Excel
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and meet time-sensitive deadlines
